2011 Term 2 Test 1 Reflections:
Having failed to achieve my aims this term, I personally feel that there is a need for me to buck up because from 24 marks to 28 marks, there is only a difference of 4 marks and those 4 marks could have been gotten. Firstly, I did not prepare enough for the test. First, to start off, I think I should have made enough preparation for each topic of the test. I was aware of my weaknesses in this topic such as coordinate geometry. Thus, I actually spent most of the time revising coordinate geometry instead of the other 2 topics like solving word problems through algebraic fractions and further indices. Throughout the test, I was actually frantic, after I saw the first 2 questions, I was momentarily stunned. For the first question, where there were 5 parts, they were probably seen as the easiest questions of the paper but I failed to grasp the concepts of the question. This was especially since when this question contributed to 14 marks of the paper and I was shocked because I only managed to get 5 marks where I expected to get 10 marks of the 14 marks available as I expected to get the first 2 questions, worth 2 marks each, wrong. However, besides, most of my further indices were correct and I managed to grasp all the concepts of coordinate geometry. So, only if I had gotten the 9 extra marks from the first question, I would have gotten 24+9/40 Marks which would be an A1.

2011 Term 2 Test 2 Marks: 31/40 Marks 2011 Term 2 Test 2 Reflections:
Personally, I feel relieved that I have finally gotten an A1 this year for one of the four tests. To start, this A1 can be considered as a lucky one. Most of the class had also gotten an A1 for this test, since it was rather easy in our opinions. The two topics tested in this test were simultaneous linear equations and trigonometry. To start, I have learnt from my mistakes in the past test and made sure that they did not appear once more. However, I believed that I could have gotten a higher mark if I had closely read the questions (because in Q6. I think I wanted to solve using only one of the figures, not the other one). Another major point here would be I always like to doubt my answers and it has appeared once more in this test. In one of my questions, I ended with the answer that has no equation, and then I thought it was wrong, so I tried using the method of substitution and got an answer, but in the end, the answer was indeed no equation. So maybe, I was really lucky this time round, the next test in Term 3, I do look forward to it and score another A1.
